The “Nutri-Bus” will be coming to your neighborhood soon.
Senator Imee Marcos has teamed up with the film production company behind Maid in Malacañang to implement a national feeding program. The program includes the distribution of the fortified nutribun to children to help address malnutrition.
Four custom vehicles dubbed “Nutri-Bus” will be used to deliver the healthy meals to kids in schools and communities. The senator’s feeding program already had its pilot run in Tanay province on Monday.
According to film director Darryl Yalp, the feeding program was made possible by the box office hit Maid in Malacañang.
The film, starring Cesar Montano and Ruffa Gutierrez, features the last three days of the Marcos family before fleeing to the United States. The movie has earned over P650 million based on the Sept. 5 Facebook post of Viva Films.
“KATAS NG #MIM,” Yap wrote on Facebook, sharing photos of one of the custom buses.
#nutriBUS,” the director said.
Yap said Senator Imee wants to sustain her father the late President Ferdinand Marcos’ advocacy on ensuring public health.
Yap said.
